About the museum
The museum preserves the bequest of the Luxembourgish artist Théo Kerg, who was born in 1909 and died in France in 1993. Kerg worked as a painter, graphic artist, sculptor, and glass designer.
The permanent exhibition is spread across three floors of a restored half-timbered house in the middle of Schriesheim's old town. Special exhibitions with artists from Germany and abroad are added twice a year.
The house is run on behalf of the town of Schriesheim by the Kulturkreis Schriesheim e.V. (cultural association), under the direction of the artist Tom Feritsch since 2021. A free audio guide leads through the house via 20 stations marked with QR codes.
