About the museum
The Art & Heritage Collections of Robert Gordon University hold artworks and objects that reflect the history and achievements of the university. They include historical items as well as contemporary art, and they form a record of the creative work of RGU's students, alumni and teachers.
The collections are shared through loans, displays and exhibitions, and part of the art is shown around the university's Garthdee campus on the southern edge of Aberdeen. Anyone can arrange an appointment to look at or study items in the Collections Hub in the library, and guided tours of the art on display across the campus can be organised on request. The collections can also be searched online, and the team writes a blog with an object of the week.
