Over het museum
The MABA (Maison d'Art Bernard Anthonioz) is a contemporary art centre created in 2006 on the initiative of the Fondation des Artistes. Its name pays tribute to Bernard Anthonioz, founder of the foundation that preceded today's Fondation des Artistes.
In Nogent-sur-Marne, it is part of the complex run by the foundation, which also includes the Maison nationale des artistes, a retirement home for artists, and two sets of studios, the Hameau and the Cité Guy Loë.
The centre presents three exhibitions a year, solo or group, with an emphasis on photography and graphic design, as well as subjects related to society, history, memory and the local area. It has been a member of the Tram d'Île-de-France network since 2010 and offers programs for schools and for children aged 5 to 12.

Program for children aged 5 to 12: “Petits Parcours” from age 5 (visit to the exhibition at child height, workshop and snack, free by reservation), “Mon anniv' à la MABA” from age 6 (Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 14:30 to 17:30, 12 children maximum) and “Mon stage à la MABA” from age 6 during school holidays.
