Over het museum
This house belongs to the network of sites of the Écomusée de la Bresse bourguignonne. It recalls the winegrowing past of the Bresse, now largely forgotten, which gave the south of the territory a recognisable architecture. Located near the so-called Château des Princes d'Orange, the small house shows the different activities of winegrowers.
The large vat kept in the courtyard, the cellar filled with bottles and the living room of the former owners show a farming activity that was once widespread and is now almost gone. Furniture, tools for vineyard work and a cooper’s workshop were displayed there.
