Muzeum Jawy od Sázavy

Over het museum

The Muzeum Jawy od Sázavy came about through the gradual conversion of a former shop selling textiles, clothing and carpets, in a house from the early 20th century. The biggest problem during the reconstruction was damp. The museum is privately run and was not established with public funds.

On an area of about 200 m² are displayed motorcycles of Czech and Slovak manufacture (around 70 pieces), historic physics models, models of technical principles, engine cutaways, crystal radio sets, measuring instruments and other technical curiosities. Child-friendly explanations, marked with an icon, are provided for some of the exhibits.
