Om museet
The museum is devoted to the painter and printmaker André Dunoyer de Segonzac (1884–1974), born in Boussy-Saint-Antoine in the building that now houses the town hall, and attached to his home town all his life. Set up in 1984, it is in a wing next to the town hall courtyard, on the first floor of a former saddlery, and shares its premises with an association library.
The collections come largely from the painter's library, which he bequeathed. They include works by the artist (prints, lithographs, copper plates, drawings), posters, exhibition catalogues, family photographs, medals, documents and books, forming documentation on his life and work.
The Bibliothèque Dunoyer de Segonzac is a non-profit association: volunteers run it and welcome the public, with the support of municipal and regional grants.
