The Dannenfels village museum is housed in the Hofgut Gümbel, a half-timbered building erected around 1830. Everyday objects of village life are shown in five rooms.
The collection focuses on agricultural machinery, especially a collection of plows. In addition, there are household appliances and tools. Most of the roughly 800 exhibits are on open display, and visitors can often be shown how the devices work.
