Om museet
The local history museum is in the former school in the Modautal district of Asbach, which now also houses the library. It recalls the earlier life of the village.
On display are a shoemaker's workshop, a sewing room, a carpentry shop, and a locksmith's shop, as well as agricultural tools. In the upper area, visitors can browse old files and look at pictures and antiques. Modautal has another local history museum in the district of Brandau.
