Om museet
Since 1984 Dohna's local history museum has been housed in a roughly 300-year-old former pharmacy building on the market square. The exhibition spans prehistory, the Middle Ages and the present day and emphasizes Dohna's role on the old trade route of the Kulmer Steig.
The collection includes geological finds and fossils, prehistoric objects, medieval finds from the time of the Burgraves of Dohna, craft tools, historical documents and art from the 18th century onward. Several exhibition areas are interactive. There is also a reference library on local history; archive material can be viewed on request.
