Om museet
The museum is on the second floor of the Kulturhaus im Markt at Marktplatz 4 in Neubeuern. The guest information office is on the first floor of the building; the third floor houses the Galerie am Markt, which has been run self-managed by artists living in Neubeuern as the Künstlerkreis Neubeuern since December 2004.
The exhibition shows a variety of exhibits on Neubeuern's local history. The main focus is on Inn river shipping, the Neubeuern Choral Society under Enoch zu Guttenberg, Neubeuern Castle, and the traditional costume club V.T.E.V. "Edelweiß" Neubeuern; a fossil exhibition complements the rooms.
