About the museum
The Ausstellungsbrücke (exhibition bridge) is a gallery of the Province of Lower Austria for contemporary art. It is located on the third floor of the Landhaus in St. Pölten's government quarter and, as a glazed corridor, connects the office building with the government building, that is, buildings 1 and 1a.
The programme offers a platform above all to artists from Lower Austria; around ten exhibitions take place each year. The gallery lies in the middle of the administrative district and aims to bring art to people without any fear of entering. At every opening, a Lower Austrian winery has the opportunity to offer selected wines for tasting.
The venue is run by the Department of Art and Culture at the Office of the Lower Austrian Provincial Government. The programme consists of changing exhibitions.
