About the museum

Brasserie Dubuisson is the oldest family brewery in Belgium: it has brewed without interruption since 1769 at its farm brewery in Pipaix, near Leuze-en-Hainaut. Today the 8th and 9th generations of the Dubuisson family run it; it is known in particular for its beers Bush and Cuvée des Trolls.

The Beerstorium, its interactive museum, occupies the château de Ghyssegnies, where the brewery's story began in 1769. The route takes visitors from room to room, each devoted to a theme, past documents and historical traces that tell 250 years of expertise.

Relics of the past mix with interactive screens, 3D animations, virtual reality headsets to travel back in time and an escape game: the Troll of the Cuvée des Trolls has hidden puzzles to solve as a family or with friends. Along the route, a telephone even lets you taste three beers in the company of Hugues Dubuisson. The visit can be continued at the Taverne Trolls & Bush and the Terroir des Trolls shop, and can be combined with a guided tour of the brewery.
