About the museum
La Maison Élysée is the museum devoted to the history and heritage of the Presidency of the French Republic. It opened in July 2024 opposite the Élysée Palace, on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, and is open all year round.
The route presents, among other things, the symbols of the Republic, the Garde républicaine, the Élysée kitchens and the table services of major manufactures. It then turns to the presidential functions, with a partial reconstruction of a salon and an office used by several heads of state. Other rooms trace the evolution of the Hôtel d’Évreux, which became the Élysée Palace, as well as recent renovations, and display diplomatic gifts.
The venue also includes a café and a shop offering French products and a seasonal menu.
