About the museum

Mundolingua is a museum of languages on rue Servandoni, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, near the Luxembourg Gardens and the church of Saint-Sulpice. The museum's website names Mark Oremland as its founder. The museum reopened to the public in June 2020.

The permanent exhibition covers about 170 m² and explains language through themed alcoves, games, touchscreens and objects to handle. The first space deals with the production of sounds and the place of language among other forms of communication; the trail then covers the history and geography of languages. Headphones allow visitors to listen to videos and soundtracks during the self-guided visit.
