About the museum
The Musée Novera Ahmed is located in La Roche-Guyon, in the Val-d’Oise department. Opened in 2018, it displays sculptures and paintings by Novera Ahmed, a Bangladeshi sculptor born in 1939 who died in Paris in 2015.
The museum was founded by the artist's husband. A large part of Novera Ahmed's sculptures is kept at the Musée national du Bangladesh in Dacca.
