About the museum
The “Vandré il y a 100 ans” museum is a local traditions museum devoted to the ethnology and history of the village of Vandré, today one of the delegated communes of La Devise. It presents itself as the only rural museum in the Aunis plain and as a reflection of a preserved local testimony.
Its five thematic rooms bring together a rich collection of objects, furniture, costumes and documents illustrating village life at the turn of the 20th century. A tourist guide mentions a fifth room recently opened on the history of viticulture in Aunis before phylloxera.
The museum is presented on the website of the commune of La Devise, which lists the association Biblio’Muse as its contact.
