About the museum
The Heimatstube in Gutenberg, a village district of Oberostendorf, is housed in a building that was formerly the administrative seat of the steward of the noble Hörmann von und zu Gutenberg family.
The rooms hold many old objects from the local area that document how people lived and worked in earlier times. A particular highlight is a complete cobbler's workshop from bygone days. The collection can be visited by appointment.
