About the museum
The museum is dedicated to Johann Peter Frank, who was born in Rodalben in 1745 and is regarded as a pioneer of public health and of socially oriented health care. It is housed in the Pfarrer-Dr.-Lederer-Haus on Schulstraße.
The collection documents the physician's life and work with writings by and about him. At its center is his nine-volume main work "System einer vollständigen medicinischen Policey," with which he laid the foundations of modern health policy.
