The Junges Schloss is the children's museum of the Landesmuseum Württemberg and is located in the Old Castle on Schillerplatz in Stuttgart. It opened in 2010 and, with its hands-on exhibitions, is aimed at children and their families.
The exhibitions change and invite visitors to try things out at stations for playing, touching, smelling, listening and marveling. Kindergartens and school classes can visit the house with their own programs; inclusive groups are also welcome. There are also children's birthday parties, a children's club and tours with a hand-puppet player.
After a conversion phase, the new hands-on exhibition SCHÄTZE (TREASURES) opens in October 2026.
