A loan exhibition from the Evangelischer Presseverband für Bayern portrays around twenty people from the German-speaking world who work for peace, including well-known and lesser-known personalities.
About the museum
The Museum der Stadt Geretsried opened in 2013. It traces local history from the former Schwaige, a mountain pasture settlement, to the founding of the municipality in 1950.
A particular focus is on the Nazi era and the two armaments factories DAG and DSC. Another theme covers flight and expulsion, and the traditions brought along, such as instrument making from the Egerland region and wine growing by the Danube Swabians.
