Temporarily closed. Since September 30, 2026, the museum has been closed to visitors for renovation and a redesign of the collection display; no reopening date has been announced. Before the closure, it was open Wednesday to Sunday, 14:00–18:00.

About the museum

The museum opened in 2012 in the Pavillon Source Kind (Karl-Gotthelf-Kind Pavilion) in the park of the Mondorf-les-Bains thermal spa. It presents itself as Luxembourg’s first aviation museum and for more than ten years has shown the country’s aviation history through models, photographs and videos.

Its centerpiece is a restored 1934 Klemm with bright red wings. It is joined by the oldest surviving wooden aircraft to have flown in Luxembourg since 1946, an ultralight aircraft and Luxembourg’s first hot-air balloon. The exhibition introduces powered flight, gliding and parachuting.

A weather station and a listening station, which features a radio exchange between pilot and control tower, invite visitors to take part; a film tells the story of the Klemm. Since September 30, 2026, the museum has been temporarily closed for renovation and a reorganization of the collection display.
