About the museum
The Gibberd Gallery is a visual arts space in the Civic Centre at the Water Gardens in Harlow, Essex. It is named in honour of Sir Frederick Gibberd, whose watercolours form part of its collection. The Harlow Art Trust has run the gallery since 2011, when it took it over from Harlow Council.
The gallery looks after the town’s collections of sculpture and watercolours, which are on permanent display, and shows a programme of changing exhibitions of modern and contemporary art during the year. Sculpture tours of Harlow, a town known for its collection of public sculpture, can be booked in advance.
