About the museum
The Grampound with Creed Heritage Centre is run by a small group of volunteers and is a committee of Grampound with Creed Parish Council. It is housed in an old Grade II listed building in the village of Grampound near Truro.
The centre presents the history of the area through exhibits and information panels, a large photo archive, films and digital stories, and a large collection of printed research. The heritage group also publishes online material, including a brief history of Grampound, a photo archive, the 1841 census and an 1888 map.
Groups can book a "walk and talk" session that combines a walk to the historic spots in the village with a talk or film show in the centre. The volunteers will also try to help with enquiries by liaising with other groups or museums.
