About the museum
The Moray Motor Museum is in the centre of Elgin, close to Cooper Park, in a light, airy old mill building. Part of the building goes back to the time of Elgin Cathedral, when the Bishops of Moray used it as a grain mill.
The collection brings together veteran, vintage and classic cars and motorbikes, together with model cars and a large collection of motoring memorabilia and ephemera. Cars featured on the museum website include a 1954 Aston Martin Lagonda V12, a 1960 Aston Martin DB4, a 1961 Coombs Jaguar Mk2, a 1963 AC Aceca and a 1937 BMW 328, alongside modern classics such as a 2010 Porsche 911 Sport Classic.
