About the museum
The C.M. Booth Collection is a private museum of historic vehicles at the front of which stands Falstaff Antiques, in the High Street of Rolvenden, Kent. The collection first opened to visitors in 1972 and has grown considerably since then. It reflects the interest of its owner, Mr Booth, in Morgan three-wheeler cars.
The Morgan three-wheelers are the heart of the display. The first Morgan was built in 1909 by H.F.S. Morgan, who ran the Malvern Link Garage, and the cars on show date from 1909 to 1935. Their simple design allowed many different engines to be fitted, including J.A.P., M.A.G., Anzani, Blackburne, Matchless, Ford and Precision units. Most of the vehicles are in working order and several are driven on the road each year.
Beside the Morgans the museum shows other veteran vehicles, among them a 1929 Ford Model A, a 1929 Morris van, a 1904 Humber tri-car, a 1936 Bampton caravan and two motorcycles from 1911. Bicycles, tricycles, toy and model cars and motoring memorabilia complete the collection.
