About the museum
The Yorkshire Cricket Museum is in the East Stand at Headingley Stadium in Leeds. It is run by the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, the charity arm of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, and aims to tell the story of cricket in Yorkshire through the club’s archive and collection.
The museum looks beyond the cricket played at Headingley to the role the game has played in local communities across the county. A selection of important artefacts is on display in the East Stand, while the rest of the collection is held at the West Yorkshire Archive Service in Morley. A roll of honour lists the county’s trophy wins, from the County Championship titles of 1867 onwards to the 2014 and 2015 championships and the 2022 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
Because the museum shares the stadium with the match programme, it opens on match days only. A Mobile Museum has toured schools, clubs and community events, but it cannot currently be requested.
