Over het museum
The carriage museum is in Peppange, only about 200 meters from the Musée Rural et Artisanal. It is named after Grand Duchess Charlotte and now occupies its own premises at 21 rue de Crauthem.
The collection includes about 20 horse-drawn carriages, ranging from a simple single-axle cart to six vehicles from the holdings of the Grand Ducal Court, including a large gala coupé. It is complemented by accessories such as harnesses, travel trunks, carriage lamps and travel equipment.
Also on display are a complete wheelwright’s workshop and an illustrated account of the history of carriage building. Guided tours are offered on request, including in combination with a carriage ride through the fields of the municipality.

The €8 admission covers a self-guided visit. The Luxembourg Card is accepted; the Kulturpass from Visit Luxembourg gives free admission, and with the Cultur'all Pass the admission costs half price. No card payments.
