Over het museum

The Arsenal Football Club Museum, run by the club, tells the history of Arsenal from its beginnings in Woolwich through the Highbury years to the move to Emirates Stadium. It was first housed in the North Bank stand at Highbury from 1993 until the club left that ground in 2006, and it now stands in the Northern Triangle Building opposite turnstile E, next to the Ken Friar Bridge.

The displays consist of about twenty major exhibits and two video theatres, one covering the years 1886 to 1949 and the other 1950 to the present day. Many objects were given by former players. Among the items named by the club are Jens Lehmann's gloves from the unbeaten 2003/04 league season, Michael Thomas's boots from the title-deciding match at Anfield in 1989 and Charlie George's shirt from the 1971 FA Cup Final.

There is no separate museum ticket. Entry is included with every Emirates Stadium Tour ticket, and visitors usually spend about 30 minutes in the museum.
