This museum is housed on the first floor of the Musée Salies in Bagnères-de-Bigorre. It holds the collections of Jeanne Sayous, made up of folk art objects chosen to tell the story of the end of an economy and a way of life, and carrying Pyrenean customs.
Alongside these objects, the museum holds numerous lithographs and old maps of the Pyrenees. The town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre presents this collection under the title “Arts populaires” on its page about the Musée Salies.
