Midlertidigt lukket (forventet til 2031). The cellar of the Ridderzaal lies within the construction area of the Binnenhof renovation, which began at the end of 2021. According to the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf, the Binnenhof is due to reopen to visitors in summer 2031. In the meantime ProDemos offers tours in the temporary buildings of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

The exhibition space is located in the front cellar of the Ridderzaal on the Binnenhof in The Hague. From 1970 to 1974 it housed a VVV tourist office, and from 1974 to 2011 the Binnenhof visitor centre. In 2012 the visitor centre moved to ProDemos, and the cellar was converted into an exhibition space managed by ProDemos. It used to be open free of charge every day except Sunday and was integrated into the ProDemos tours.

On display were, among other things, a scale model of the Prinsjesdag procession with the Golden Coach ("De Route van de Gouden Koets"), about 20 metres long, built by the studios of Joop Geesink and on loan from the M.C. Escher Foundation from the collection of the former Oranjemuseum. There was also a model of the Binnenhof from 1997, fourteen gravestones moved here from the neighbouring Court Chapel, and a Deventer tapestry that hung in the Ridderzaal from 1904 to 1954.

Since the end of 2021 the Binnenhof has been undergoing a fundamental renovation. According to the government, visitors will not be able to walk across the site again until summer 2031. ProDemos is currently conducting its tours in the temporary buildings of the Senate and the House of Representatives; the page about the exhibition space has disappeared from the ProDemos website.
