Midlertidigt lukket. The museum is currently not accessible. The former school building is being converted into a village community house, in which the local history museum is to be housed on the upper floor.

Om museet

The Urexweiler local history museum was set up by the Heimat- und Verkehrsverein Urexweiler on the upper floor of the old schoolhouse. It is meant to bring the village's past and the way of life of its ancestors vividly to life.

The former school building on Im Brühl is being converted by the municipality of Marpingen into a village community house (Haus der Vereine). On the second floor, further association and storage rooms are planned, along with the local history museum.
