About the museum
The Natuurpunt visitor centre is on Schuurhovenberg in Oud-Turnhout and serves as the reception point for the nature reserve Landschap De Liereman. You can drop in all year round for a drink, information and the start of a walk.
The permanent exhibition ‘Een landschap vol verhalen’ (“A landscape full of stories”) shows seven valuable habitats of the landscape and the heritage that goes with them, with illustrations by the Catalan artist Toni Llobet. A listening walk of about 6 km with ten stops, which you open with QR codes, also starts from the centre; the podcast can also be listened to at home.
For children there is a play forest, the Stoeberpad with nine play elements, and a treasure hunt with the mascot Bo. There is also a café with a terrace.
