About the museum
The Auto Sport Museum was founded in 2017 in Châtillon-Coligny with private funds and the help of volunteers. It opened on April 29, 2017, sponsored by stuntman Rémy Julienne and racing driver Pierre de Thoisy.
The exhibition building covers about 2,000 m² and includes several halls, a screening room and rest areas. Vehicles are grouped by origin: French, German and Italian cars, American and Japanese cars, a hall devoted to British cars, and a room for motorcycles and mopeds.
The collection includes about 80 sports cars and motorcycles, often lent by collectors, and some of them change over the course of the year. There are also more than 1,000 miniatures in two collections, including more than 200 cars from the 24 Heures du Mans between 1937 and 2023. A video room shows films about the early days of the French automobile and about the stunts performed by Rémy Julienne’s team for the James Bond films.
