About the museum
The Cap al Campestre museum is an association-run museum, open since 1986 in Lherm, south of Toulouse. It traces life in towns and in the countryside between 1900 and 1960 through twelve thematic buildings.
Over the course of the visit, you discover cereal processing, the 1900 house, woodworking trades, means of transport, the wine cellar, water in everyday life, small trades, sports and leisure, the darkroom, the printing workshop, the bread workshop and means of communication.
Individual visitors can walk around freely after a general introduction to the site. Groups, whether school or adult, can join thematic tours with demonstrations: bread-making, apple juice pressing, grape harvesting, printing and rope-plaiting.
