About the museum

The museum of the French Tennis Federation opened in 2003 in the former gardener’s house of the Roland-Garros stadium in Paris. After the stadium’s transformations around 2016, it was renamed the Tenniseum and remained closed for several years.

The new Tenniseum was inaugurated on May 23, 2024, just before the draw for the 2024 Roland-Garros tournament, after almost two years of work. It is now a cultural and events venue combining a museum gallery, exhibition rooms and a 358-seat auditorium.

The entrance area features a film projected on a 180-degree screen and an interactive game. The collections, largely multimedia, include thousands of hours of images and sounds, photographs and about a hundred rackets from 1920 to today.
