About the museum
The Pavillon du Milieu de Loire is a nature and environment center in Pouilly-sur-Loire, in the heart of the Réserve naturelle du Val de Loire. It is run by the environmental education service of the Communauté de communes Cœur de Loire.
The site includes a permanent area on the nature reserve and two rooms for temporary exhibitions. Every year, from April to November, the team presents exhibitions on nature, with an educational, scientific or artistic focus. Trails lead to the reserve and the neighboring vineyard.
The Pavillon also serves as a visitor reception point: there is a nature shop, a small snack bar and grocery corner with organic or local products, a tourist information point, a documentation center and a coloring corner for children.
