About the museum
Since 2001, the town of Barentin has pursued an active policy in favor of its heritage. It has restored and promoted its collections of sculptures spread across public spaces, known as “Musée dans la rue”.
Several works have also been gathered in the Salle Camille Claudel, the town's permanent exhibition room. It presents 57 pieces (busts, statues and paintings), including L'homme qui marche by Auguste Rodin, a work on loan from the Musée d'Orsay.
The room is located above the Musée Numérique, where the town offers lectures, workshops and events on art history.
