About the museum
The Tomaselli Collection grew out of the passion of Jérôme Tomaselli, a business owner and collector who has for many years brought together works linked to Lyon and its artists. The holdings today number nearly 3,000 works, mainly paintings of the Lyon School in all genres (still lifes, landscapes, views of Lyon), up to contemporary creations. The collection continues to grow regularly.
The venue defines itself as both a gallery and a private museum. It occupies an exhibition space of more than 900 m² at 17 cours de la Liberté in Lyon, which the house presents as its new address. The space includes an exhibition room, lounge areas and three modular meeting rooms, which can also be rented for professional or private events.
Visitors discover the collections during free visits and regularly renewed thematic exhibitions, as well as during guided tours offered to groups by reservation.
