About the museum
The Dorfmuseum Ringenwalde is located in the Ringenwalde district of the municipality of Temmen-Ringenwalde in the Uckermark. It offers a glimpse into domestic village life and invites visitors on a journey into the past: an old-fashioned kitchen, a parlor and a bedroom are furnished with household items and everyday objects from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The museum is located at the village's tourist information office, which also offers information material about the village and its surroundings and bicycle rental. The village itself was already settled in the Stone Age; to the south lies a burial mound field about 3,500 years old, with a reconstructed grave. Other sights include the village church, where concerts take place from May to September on the last Saturday of the month, and the Riesenstein, an erratic boulder in the castle park.
