About the museum
The Neidenstein Local History Museum opened in 1994. It is housed in a 16th-century half-timbered building in the outer bailey directly below the castle.
The collection displays objects from village life and documents the history and customs of the community. The museum is run by the Verein für Kultur und Heimatpflege Neidenstein (Neidenstein Association for Culture and Local Heritage).
