About the museum
Since 1995 there has been a small farmhouse museum on the former parish grounds in Obergruna. The Heimatstube is housed in the barn of the former parsonage, surrounded by old trees.
In several sections it shows agricultural equipment, tools and furniture, household items from grandmother's time, children's toys and photographs, as well as objects belonging to the former village community nurse; a farm cellar is also part of it. Old activities are demonstrated regularly, such as butter churning, flail threshing, spinning, broom-making, wagon-wheel building, sled building and beekeeping with honey harvesting.
