About the museum
Since 2004, Hamburger SV has had its own museum in the Volksparkstadion. On around 700 square meters it takes visitors through more than 135 years of club history – with historic exhibits, multimedia stations and special mementos. It tells of great successes, formative personalities and moving moments as well as of difficult periods in the club's history.
The foundation of the exhibition is the extensive HSV archive, whose holdings go back to the 19th century. As part of Hamburg's museum landscape, the museum links the history of sport, the city and its times, and shows what makes up HSV's identity.
