About the museum
The Kneipp Museum in Bad Wörishofen has existed since June 27, 1986. It is located on a historic site in the convent of the Dominican sisters; in the east wing of the convent, the life and work of Sebastian Kneipp are documented.
The holdings comprise around 7,200 objects, of which about 650 are on display. The tour passes several stations: from Wörishofen before Kneipp, through Kneipp's everyday life and his success as the "water doctor," to the five pillars of Kneipp's teaching. A scent station lets visitors test their senses.
The exhibition is complemented by a regular programme of lectures with demonstrations of Kneipp treatments and film screenings. An audio guide is available in German and English.
