About the museum
The museum holds, in three rooms, the finds that emerged from the excavations carried out by the heritage authority in the territory of Arsago Seprio over roughly thirty years. The route traces the settlement of the area from prehistory up to the age of the Visconti.
The ancient settlement is documented from the Final Bronze Age; later, Celtic peoples of the Insubres tribe settled there, who from the 2nd century BC were gradually absorbed into the Roman world and in the Augustan age adopted its customs.
