About the museum
The Museo Storico Alfa Romeo at Arese, near Milan, tells the history of the Alfa Romeo brand through a sequence of cars on display together with historical materials, videos and interactive stations. It opened in 1976, and the route is divided into sections devoted to beauty, speed and the company’s chronology.
The museum holds racing and production cars from the origins of the brand, at the beginning of the 20th century, to the most recent models. Alongside the collection there is a documentation centre, a cinema with 4D and virtual reality screenings, a shop and a café with bistro.
The car depot can be visited only by booking. The complex also has an internal track of 880 metres, used for car parades and photo shoots; the museum also organises live events, such as parades and meetings.
