About the museum

Småflaskemuseet, The Mini Bottle Gallery, is located in Kirkegata in central Oslo and shows what is presented as the world's largest collection of miniature bottles. Of the museum's total of 90,000 bottles, 14,500 are on display in more than 50 installations covering 1,500 square metres across three floors. Several thousand bottles are kept in a separate bottle vault.

The installations show miniature bottles from all over the world by theme, and among the bottles there are also some filled with fruit and berries, worms and mice. The museum was established in 2003.

The building is also used as a function room and venue for courses and conferences, with food and refreshments from the neighbouring Statholdergaarden. Guided tours of the museum can be booked.
