About the museum
The Energetyczne Centrum Nauki (Energy Science Centre) has operated in the Kielce Technology Park since 2016 and is run by the PGE Foundation. The centre introduces energy-related topics in the form of play and experiments. It is located on the second floor of the SKYE INC. building at ul. Olszewskiego 6.
The main attraction is the exhibition “Energia” with 29 interactive stations in three zones: “Ogień i Ziemia” (Fire and Earth), “Powietrze i Woda” (Air and Water) and “Człowiek” (Human). Visitors learn how car fuel is made, where crude oil comes from, why wind farms are built at sea and how much energy is needed to light a bulb. They can also pump water uphill in a hydroelectric power station or turn a windlass weighing 750 kg.
Besides the exhibition there are the “Generator Mocy” (Power Generator) laboratory with experiment workshops, a cinema, the Energetyczny Ogród Doświadczeń (Energy Experiment Garden) and a science shop. Weekends are dedicated to family experimenting, and the centre also organises science birthday parties.

The prices given are for the 45-minute version of the exhibition visit: PLN 30 standard, PLN 26 concession, family and group. Children under 5 enter free. The Karta Dużej Rodziny issued by the President of the City of Kielce entitles the holder to a 50% discount for children and 20% for adults. Prices include VAT.

The building and grounds of the centre are adapted for people with disabilities. The exhibition paths are wide, and level differences are overcome by a stair platform lift, a stair-climbing chair and lifts. People with disabilities can use the interactive stations, take part in laboratory sessions and attend cinema screenings.

Cars can be parked by the SKYE INC. incubator building at ul. Olszewskiego 6. When spaces run out, park by the MARINA BAY car park on the left side of ul. Olszewskiego, or in a few spaces by the Energetyczny Ogród Doświadczeń. Coaches use the lay-by at ul. Olszewskiego 21.
