About the museum
The Museu Terras de Regalados, in Pico de Regalados (municipality of Vila Verde), preserves and promotes the sacred art collection of the parish and of the Terras de Regalados. It brings together about one hundred objects of worship and religious use, dating from the 16th to the 20th century.
The collection includes statuary, liturgical vestments, woodcarving, metal objects, books and documents of historical and cultural interest. The museum is run by AMUTER – Associação dos Amigos do Museu Terras de Regalados (Association of Friends of the Terras de Regalados Museum) and is located next to the parish church, on the Rua da Igreja.
Visits take place on Sunday mornings and by appointment by telephone.
