About the museum
The Centro de Arte Complutense opened in 2009 on the ground floor of the Museo del Traje (Costume Museum) in Madrid’s Ciudad Universitaria. It was created as a museum space where the historical and artistic heritage of the Complutense University could be seen and, at the same time, as a focus for new artistic trends and a forum for culture and social integration.
The centre has two exhibition spaces: a multipurpose exhibition hall of about 700 m², equipped to host very varied shows, and external display cases intended for graphic art and other two-dimensional works.
