About the museum
The museum in Nybro is run by the collector Gunnar Schäfer, who became a Bond fan in the 1960s and has since built up a large collection around agent 007. He has also taken the name James Bond and appears in the documentary film The Other Fellow from 2023. The premises are in an industrial area on Emmabodavägen, next to the car parts company Nybro Bildelar.
The collection contains original posters from the films, films and books, cars, motorcycles and other vehicles, gaming tables for blackjack and roulette, gold bars, spy cameras and a great deal of other printed material. The vehicle halls have housed, among other things, a gondola, a hovercraft and the motorcycle from the film No Time to Die. The museum is described as the world’s first James Bond 007 museum.
